How To Pin A Website Link To Windows 7 Taskbar


For those who love to pin their favorite websites we have small tip that enables you pin any website shortcut to the taskbar.

As you may know, by default, you can pin a website page to your default browser’s jump list only. So, here are the steps you need to follow in order to pin a website link to Windows 7 taskbar:
# Right-click on the desktop, select New and then select Shortcut to launch Create Shortcut wizard.

# In the location box, you need to enter browser’s installation path followed by website address. For example, if you want to pin Into Windows shortcut to the taskbar and want to open open it in Internet Explorer browser, you need to type the following command:
“C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe” http://www.intowindows.com
